Inter-Arts celebrates artists every day and it is important to recognise how far the rights of women have improved,  from getting the vote, to having a career, but there is still along way to go for women to be seen as equal to men, across the world. Campaigns to raise awareness for Equal Pay, Stop Violence Towards Women, and Freedom of Speech for all, amongst other things are still being fought everyday.  Inter-Arts supports and celebrates IWD every year.
